Ulfin - Meets Lyv & Helke in the Resplendent Bays. He is a smart, natural engineer, and damaged, traumatized young man. Ulfin is 31 years old. In many years from now, Ulfin eventually becomes an emissary for the Idyllwode Commonwealth, becoming Ulfin Emissar, after a few years of being a loyal Idyllwode ally. When he first arrives in Idyllwode, he begins using his fletching skills to help the army, particularly the Fowlers. He is frazzled, a bit like Stark from Farscape, because of all that he has been through. He was a slave of Peldrim, then granted conditional freedom as long as his mind was being used in service of Peldrim’s goal of making efficient Nemore harvesters. But he is pure of heart, despite being aggressive and sometimes forgetting where he is. He works closely with Nimith, helping to craft her the finest bows, arrows, and quivers that he can. He comes to live in Idyllwode Hearth proper, and becomes best friends with Nimith and Gergun in nearby Snaggly Thicket, as he makes bows and arrows for the Fowlers and bonds over wood with Gergun and the other Treewrights. In his early 30s when we meet him. He is a tinkerer and maker, but his main skills are in bringing people together, and making connections, convincing others to do what is right. His connection with Russum lets him to see inside the inner workings of Idyllwode, and when Emissars are reinstated in the Idyllwode Commonwealth, Ulfin is asked to join them. As an Emissar, it makes sense for Ulfin to often join our crew on their adventures and travel, despite the fact that he is not a trained melee-combatant, magic-wielder, or otherwise good in a fight. He can be, quite one-track-minded with his work. He has olive-tan skin, hairy, his hair is kept short, but would be wavy almost curly. Thick eyebrows and a strong, wide nose. He is more stout, not very tall, and thick necked. Muscular but has a layer of healthy fat over it. When he fights, he does so with his crossbows and various trick arrows. LA bear/ cub daddyish. He is an engineering nerd, extremely curious about the way the world works. He is gay and the future love interest of Russum. Russum is immediately very attracted to him. Eventually, by his association with Russum and the rest of the Grovegardes, Ulfin is consistently refreshed by the Nemorence, and he stops aging. Theoretically, Russum and Ulfin could be together forever.
