Gergun Treewright - Helke’s love interest, and future spouse. He is 27 years old when our story begins. He has fair skin with some freckles, hair lighter brown with some golden ruddy hue in it, and is tall and covered in lean muscle. He is a childhood best friend, and found family of Nimith. They are the same age, a few years older than Lyv, and so, were in the same group level (class) in Snaggly Thicket. Neither has much for other close family. He is a hometown civilian-taking-up-arms archetype, similar to Nimith, and fights with a big hammer; his weapon of choice is also his tool for his carpentry and house building work. A member of the Treewright guild, with Treewright as his Crestcall. Often gone for work for long stretches into Idyllwode Hearth, as his work brings him into the city often, building homes and other buildings for the Commonwealth of Idyllwode. He can also fight well, though he is of course not trained for that. He is a skeptic of the Nemorence, but he always tries to do the right thing. Initially wants Lyv and Helke to move on, thinking that they will bring more trouble than they are worth. Helps to defend his corner of Idyllwode (Snaggly Thicket) with Nimith. When he defends his home and family, he uses a large Hammer, which he is adept with from his work as a Treewright. He becomes Helke’s lover, but he stays in Snaggly Thicket.
