Mermer - a black forest cat (based on a Norwegian Forest Cat), she is the size of a medium-large dog, at 2.75’ tall. Fluffy, black fur, but still elegant and long. She becomes Lyv and Helke’s companion (but really Helke’s ride or die bc they can fully communicate) when they rescue her and the other animals and humans from the Resplendent Bays. Mermer is a good huntress, loves to decapitate things. Once they settle in Idyllwode, Helke tries to leave her in Snaggly Thicket, but Mermer always wants to be by her, Lyv, Russum, and Ulfin’s sides, so she doesn’t often stay. Due to her proximity to Helke and Lyv, she also gains immortality. When she does stay put in Idyllwode Hearth, it is with Pumgris Consiliare. When she stays put in Snaggly Thicket, it is with Ulfin. And she fights alongside the Grovegarde crew when she can.
