Sessine Ducote - 

 23 years old when the story begins.  A soldier and former academy classmate/ cohort-mate of Lyv’s.  She is a little bit bratty, can be aloof, spoiled, but is just as driven as Lyv. She is also a foil for Lyv.  She is a Peldrim Cadet that survived Bowerbury, and remains loyal to Peldrim Dominion.  Lyv's former coworker, a friend and confidant turned rival, tertiary antagonist.  Born of a wealthy family in Sienna Gulch,  with ancestry tied to the Great Ostran Empire.   Sessine has sun-tanned light-medium skin. Her surname is not a crestcall, but inherited, as she is from a very wealthy family in Sienna Gulch.  She is stationed temporarily in Sage Keep after the events of Bowerbury, and accompanies the heroes (Sten, Lyv, Sessine & soldiers) to bring them to Ignato Grath at Pious Outpost in the Resplendent Bays, where Ignato Grath is waiting for them.  Following the events of Resplendent Bays, she returns to Hallowed Reach & Sienna Gulch.  Used as a tool by the Peldrims, as another “survivor” of Bowerbury (even though she was evacuated beforehand), a counter to Lyvendra and the Grovegarde/ Idyllwode narrative.

Because of this (and her family’s prominence), she rises quickly through the military ranks, and is given an elite task force at her command.  She is also given technological enhancement (it is polluting, and sucks the Nemore out of the nearby environment) to make her stronger and more powerful.  Akin to thin layer of mechanical gear that she wears into combat.  Peldrim uses her to pioneer this publicly, and to show how strong and advanced Peldrim is, and how they must continue harvesting all the Nemore that they can.  She encounters Lyv and co at multiple skirmishes, including the Snaggly Thicket battle and the end.  She survives, with her and Lyv more at odds than ever.
