Connard Peldrim - Antagonist. Embodies greed, ego, and narcissism, out of shape because of their lifestyle choices - not obese, just gross. Exploit people, Destroy communities, Pillage the land.  He is always looking for more, looking to monopolize as much as he can.  He is 64 years old.

Con is the patriarch. Inherited his wealth. Cheat, narcissist. Getting old & delusional, fat dumpy.  Oversized suits.  His business empire was created by 3 generations of wage theft, exploitation, plundering, and imperialism. 

Specifically, he wants to crush Idyllwode through trade agreements, continue to gain power of the people of spevore and sagebrush highlands, exploit the people of the resplendent bays (used by the Peldrim’s as a vacation destination?), plans to cut down more forests, pave over the landscape, and systematically make communities fully dependent on Peldrim Dominion.
